Browns Shipyard
17th September 2008

Had a visit to Brown Shipyard in Hull again today.
I had been invited down a week or so before by the proprietor Noel who is a visitor to this site.

The ex-thames lighter LUGSAIL which is now operated as a dumb-tanker barge by MAINMAST LTD was in for survey, some minor repairs and an overall brush up and lick of paint.

It had already docked by the time I got there and the gates were still open slightly to let the water drain from the dock.

I took a number of images on both film (135) and digital. The 135 ones are to follow.

Many thanks to Noel Tomlinson, proprietor of the yard for his kind invite to allow me access for photography purposes.
